The RMYC has hosted sail racing for nearly 100 years and the tradition is continued to this day.

Our members can enjoy the company of friends and family in the Club’s bar, appreciate an excellent meal in the restaurant, or just relax and watch the world go by from the outdoor patio or the gun deck (weather permitting!).

We have an extremely active social calendar with around 100 events taking place each year.  Our varied programme includes a wide range of gatherings – such as themed evenings, quizzes and talks, through to formal black-tie dinners and even parties in the Boat Shed!

The Afloat Committee arranges a full programme of ‘on-water’ events each year including cruises in company, paddleboarding, the ever-popular Seagull Revival, sea fishing competitions, drinks on Stoney Island, raft-ups, and an on-water Musical Evening.

The RMYC is a recognised RYA Training Centre for both sail and power and runs a wide range of training courses throughout the year for members and their families.

The club offers five cabins exclusively for members and their guests. These include two twin en-suite cabins and three single cabins that share a bathroom. Additionally, two of the single cabins feature an optional connecting door for added convenience.
