Royal Motor Yacht Club

Our Afloat Committee organises an exciting programme of events throughout the season with long and short cruises to ports in the Solent, the west and across the Channel for the more adventurous.

Both sail and powerboats are welcome to enjoy the pontoon parties, BBQ’s and dinners at our reciprocal Yacht Clubs that are all arranged by the Afloat Team. The rallies are ideal for the experienced crew, or those new to boating, as cruising in company provides that little added confidence to venture further afield.

In addition to rallies, there are a a number of on-water events from the very popular Music on the Water, where boats anchor in the Harbour to enjoy live music from one of the Club boats, to a dash round Brownsea on anything driven by a Seagull outboard!
