Haven & Yard

The Haven & Yard comprises the boat shed, yard storage, two slipways, a 112-berth yacht haven plus 84 swinging moorings.

The RMYC staff can carry out general repairs on your boat as well as a wide range of other services.  For full details and costs:  Schedule of Charges 2026

They also provide a launch service to and from the swinging moorings.

Hosepipe Ban

A local hosepipe ban came into effect at 00:01 on Tuesday 18 August. To help us comply with the restrictions and conserve water, please follow the guidance below.

You may use a hosepipe for:

• Filling a boat’s water tank when the water is needed for  washing, cooking or sanitation.
• Commercial cleaning, where a company is being paid    to clean the boat. Haven and Yard commercial services will continue as normal, and contractors may still access the Club to undertake their work.
• Cleaning an engine that is designed to be cleaned with a hosepipe.
• Cleaning a private leisure boat where necessary for health or safety reasons, such as cleaning windows to maintain visibility.

You may not use a hosepipe to:

• Wash down a boat or other watercraft solely to remove salt. Please use a bucket instead.
