Training

The RMYC is a recognised RYA Training Centre for both sail and power and runs a wide range of training courses throughout the year for members and their families.

We also arrange a ‘sail training week’ each summer for children between 8-14 years old.  During the week we teach the children to RYA Start Sailing Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4, using both single handed and double handed dinghies. Sail Training Week 2026 is scheduled for 27th-31st July.
